One of a contractor’s most expensive losses is the time spent corresponding with subcontractors. Where does the completion stand, what happened to that deduction, did they receive the request for quotation, which amendment is the valid one. These questions come up several times a day, and answering each one costs somebody’s time.

Stargate is the ATMOS partner portal: subcontractors log in and see their own contract, their completions, their deductions and the requests for quotation sent to them — and nothing else. They submit completions themselves, upload their own documents and file their own bids. Nothing needs forwarding, and nobody needs chasing afterwards.

The partner register keeps one record per company, with roles: the same business can be both a subcontractor and a client. Company data can be pulled by tax number, and closed collaborations build into partner ratings — so the next tender invitation is decided by data rather than recollection.

A partner portal grows more valuable with the number of partners. With five subcontractors, e-mail still works; above twenty-five, coordination alone is half a job. Stargate replaces that half job — and incidentally becomes the best data source you have, because partners record what your colleague used to type in for them. The subcontractor register stops being a list to maintain and becomes a by-product of daily work.
